    1. 3 stars! With City of Fire, Hecht is taking us back to focus on Matt and Lucas, one of my favorite couples of the series. Considering the last time, she decided to revisit one of the old couples, I felt very disappointed and I was thus a little afraid to read City of Fire. And let me say first that it’s quite difficult to rate this story. I really liked a closer look at Matt’s and Lucas’ relationship and I loved the dynamics between them now that they have been together for several years a [...]

    2. This story was lovely, however, it focus more on the charaters work than anything else, which was fine.Very interesting story.

    3. Oh yes! This one has what I like about EMS HEAT, Matt Shaw! Yep ladies Matt is back along with Lucas and with most of the gang we came to know and love. It is sizzling hot between Matt and Lucas as always! The benter is definitely there between them but with all the characters. For me this installment was like getting a letter from an old friend giving me news on what's going on in his life! AND I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. I'm not saying more, I'll let you read it and enjoy it!

    4. Review Written for mmgoodbookreviews.wordpress/Even this is like 8 in a series don’t let it scare ya off its very stand alone and very worth a read. Matt and Lucas have been lovers for a long time. Matt is a paramedic and Lucas an ER nurse. They both have to work the night before Halloween also known as Devils Night. Lots of crazy things happen on that night to keep them busy, but not so busy they can’t keep their hands off each other. This is a really cute, sweet, crazy but hot story. I foun [...]

    9. The EMS Heat Series by Stephanie HechtI’m reviewing this entire series in one go because they all have similar themes. Each book is short and sweet – little bite-sized stories when you want to pick up something quick to read (I read each one in one sitting). This is one of those series (previously called St Michael’s) that centres on a group of men who work in emergency services. It is a glorious combination of EMTs, firemen, nurses, doctors…Each book is relatively short (<100 pages) a [...]

    11. This was my final hope for EMS Heat. I wanted to love this book, I wanted to be able to say "Yes, it's all back the way it should be." instead I'm left feeling sad because a series that I have come to enjoy with a cast of characters filled with potential has faded into mediocrity and for me obscurity. For my complete review see my blog on BookLikes, I tried here and 3 times it randomly closed the window on me so this is all GR.

    12. Stephani Hecht's EMS Heat series is always an enjoyable read, and I especially liked seeing two of the previous characters front and center again. I've always liked Matt's snarkiness and penchant for matchmaking. He and Lucas are two of my favorite characters. To read the rest of the review, please visit thetbrpile.weebly/1/post/2.

    13. 3,5* downgrade for the editing! Two Lucas/James name-switches, missing words, double wordsI can read over mistakes but I really hate to stumble through a book.

    14. While I loved that Matt rescued the ugly cat, I thought the scene should have been scarier. There better be another book coming as I still want to read about Jensen.

    15. The series was a total waste of money and the time I spent reading it. Each story was pretty much exactly the same, only the names changed. Insta love and sex cures all.

    16. 2.5 stars--The story was bland, and the vocab was grating.
