    1. Review also on jolasbookshelf.wordpressI'm glad to say that the second installment in 'The Seeker's Burden' series by Mark E. Lein is as good as the first one. We're immediately drawn back to the story. There's action from chapter one to the very end of the book and once again it ends in a moment that leaves me wanting more and more. Bonus points for a short summary of what happened previously at the beginning, it really helped remembering the details. I'm enjoying every page of this series and [...]

    2. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. 'Path of Darkness' continues the stories of Oliver and Ethan whose individual quests began in the first of 'The Seeker's Burden' books. Having enjoyed the first book, I was eager to see how the story continued and I got into this book very quickly and easily, so captivated in what was happening that I didn't even notice how close I was getting to the end until I turned a page and the book was finished! I must say, the pacing w [...]

    3. Full Disclosure: I received a copy of this book from the author, via in exchange for an honest review. My Thoughts: I absolutely love fantasy! I figured this out while reading Harry Potter, but even people who don’t like fantasy like HP. Finding books that remind you how much you love to read is definitely worth reading some bad ones. Path of Darkness is a continuation of The Seeker’s Burden series and you can brush up on our review of An Emerging Threat (book 1).Path of Darkness picks up ri [...]

I had no prior knowledge of, or association with the author prior to being contacted through with the offer to read and review in exchange for a copy of the book. The intrigue and action began immediately, picking up right where the first book "An Emerging Threat (The Seeker's Burden #1)", left off. This book was just as well written and enjoyable as the first in the series.I [...]

I haven't read the first book in the series, but I didn't really need too, the characters and were they all left off at in the first book was listed in the beginning of the book and it wasn't hard at all to catch up on what was going on. It was a quick read, only around 172 pages (At least in PDF form). The story was intriguing and the characters were interesting and lik [...]

    9. Sometimes I'm skeptical in reading series because I wonder if the subsequent books will be as good as the first one. Certainly not the case with Mark Lein and his Seeker's Burden series. Path of Darkness follows in the easy to read path of it's predecessor, An Emerging Threat. This novel continues with the quick, action packed pace that keeps my attention. I didn't want this to end. Really looking forward to more.

    11. This is the second in the Seeker's Burden Series and while the pace of the book is still fast it's not quite as frantic as the previous. Threads start to come together as the enemy finally starts to show their hand and the background for the world finally gets fleshed out. The story is compelling and the characters entertaining throughout. If you enjoyed Narnia, try the Seeker's Burden.
