    3. Oh myI always loved demons and angels. I knew the back story of Lucifer. But the story of his daughter is even better. She both combined into a dangerous weapon with a angel she longs to love

    4. Amara is Lucifer's daughter and one of the best at catching angels. Cathal is sent to take out her and the danger she presents. Something about them stops the other from killing them. They end up thrown together in a fight that may be impossible to win. Amara is a very complex person, more than she even knows. Cathal is keeping a secret though that could tear their tiny amount of trust apart. This was impossible to put down. Start to finish I just couldn't stop reading it. Would love to see wher [...]

    5. This was an exceptional and intriguing story that had me totally enthralled throughout. The storyline was excellent and I found it an exhilarating read. Humans were putty in Amara’s hands and angels were a trifle to be played with; to her everything was a game. Not just a pretty face, Amara is a temptress, torturer and sometimes executioner; Amara is Lucifer’s daughter, heir to a throne that can never be hers. Amara both loathed and revered Lucifer; he was her father, her King and controlled [...]

    6. A friend of mine gave me this book thinking it would be right up my alley; boy was she right. As a fan and writer of paranormal myself, the theme of angels and demons never gets old, but it’s so much fun discovering new takes on it. Cooper has presented an enthralling and emotional tale that sticks with you in the end. Amara is the Devil’s daughter and his greatest champion, but she holds a secret, unknown to herself, that her latest captive will help her discover. Slayer of angels, even Ama [...]

    8. Favorite Quotes:- She served evil. I served good.Light and darkness. So why couldn't I stop thinking about her?- "I'm ready to die for what I believe is right. For what is fair. I've been ready for an eternity.""You're different from the others." Amara took a deep breath. "So different.""As are you." I broke a small smile. "But maybe you've never stopped to see the compassion of the angels because you weren't allowed to. And maybe I never looked for beauty in the darkest of places."- The devil's [...]

    10. WOW - Jill Cooper has done it again. She has written an amazing story that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the start to the finish!!!When Amara (the Devil's Daughter) captures Cathal (an angel) and brings him to Hell with the intent to break him and try to learn some of the secrets of heaven, she had no idea of the things that she would learn. Lucifer (Amara's father - the devil) was doing everything in his power to make Amara stand by his side at the thrown, but she wanted little or [...]

    11. I love Jill Cooper! Her books are awesome, they are always fast paced and intriguing, she has an amazing style writing. This story did not disappoint me at all. It was everything I love in a story. I love forbidden love, the love that is strong, that fights for each other and doesn't go away. Yeah that is my sort of story. Amara was a awesome character, she was strong and beautiful. She didn't back down except to her father of course. She was loyal to a fault you could sense that about her. Cath [...]

    12. Most religions have a God and a Devil. Although this story is not religious, other than the fight between the Lord of Darkness, his rebellious daughter and a captured Angel.Amara, the daughter has been commanded to marry and join the inner circle of hell. This would entrap her forever in he'll, with no chance of visiting earth, as she has for the last thousand years. Plus, she knows that her father, Lucerne, wants her to marry Mark us, his right hand man, who Amara despised. Then there was Catal [...]

    13. When Amara devil's daughter brings home a angel, she is very attracted to him, she doesn't understand she caught and killed so many angels. Demons hate Angels. When she holds his sword she sees flashes from what she later finds out her mother.Amara doesn't want to kill Cathal, she will use him in the hope he wins and he will be safe. Amara is starting to dislike her dad more and more and she fears him, he is very cruel. Devil thinks it is time his daughter marries and settles. Amara's thoughts a [...]

    14. I was pleasantly surprised by this 'outside the box' take on demons, angels, Lucifer and Hell. "The gates of hell were before me and that meant I had arrived home." I was caught from the first sentence and couldn't put it down. Action, adventure, suspense, forbidden love - The Devil's Daughter has it all and kept me guessing right up until the end. Characters were well developed, and not just Amara & Cathal, the main players. In fact, one of my favorites is the demon Vasper, who has a few su [...]

    15. The Devils Daughter is a story about Amara who for the last 1,000 years has been doing the bidding of her father,Lucifer himself. On her latest mission she captures an angel that has her second guessing everything. This book was a very quick read and a good story, it wasn't awe striking but it made for a good premise. The only fault i think it had was the predictability of who Amara was. I was only a quarter way through and i figured out a crucial detail in the story.Aside from that great interpr [...]

    16. This is a intriguing and fascinating book to read, and I really enjoyed reading it. What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, action, angels, demons, a battle of good vs evil and emotional feelings. I found the story-line to be well thought out and written. The characters have emotional feelings according to the situation they find themselves in. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well written intriguing book.

    17. 60% done and I just can't finish it. So boring. And I just hate when characters are devoted to each other for no reason at all. You've known each other all of 5 minutes, have never even talked about anything and tried to kill each other yet you can't stop thinking about each other and could even possibly love that person! It just doesn't make for an entertaining read.

    18. I liked the book. The style of PoV changes reminds me a lot to the last rewind series book "Detached". Awesome plot. Seems dark but actually is just context. The pure essence is really good. Recommended. I discovered the book through her newsletter which I opt-in due to rewind series. Great author.
