Forest Park School occupies a pleasant site in a quiet road close to the centre of Sale and is easily accessible from motorways and surrounding areas. Click here to view map. Forest Park has established itself as a school that provides a broad curriculum and offers a wide range of subjects, with priority given to the traditional disciplines of mathematics, English and science. Information and communications technology is taught by specialist staff to all ages. Our pupils are prepared for entry to senior independent schools and Trafford grammar schools. With small classes, Forest Park is able to provide individual tuition in all areas for most ability levels. Our aim is to develop skills and knowledge through a habit of hard work in a secure and happy environment, within a disciplined framework. The confidence and social ease one expects from a private education is a product of the school. We also aim to provide a caring family atmosphere in which all pupils are able to realise their potential. Music forms an important aspect of our curriculum. The choir, flute and clarinet ensemble meet at lunch time and individual music lessons can be arranged for most instruments. All children from Year 1 swim weekly at the local leisure centre. Games lessons take place at a sports club nearby and include football, rugby, cricket, lacrosse, netball and tennis. The school has a flourishing Parents Association which arranges social and fundraising activities for the benefit of the children. Forest Park School has been awarded the Basic Skills Agency Quality Mark for primary schools. The head teacher is very pleased to see parents at any time. An appointment can be made through the school secretary. |
