Welcome
Welcome to Forest Park. A school which was described by one parent as "a school which punches above its weight". We are a small school and will always remain small giving the children benefits and advantages that will enhance their learning. With small class sizes, there is an excellent teacher pupil ratio involving enthusiastic and committed staff which are on hand throughout the day.
On top of this every child has the opportunity to be in the school play and represent the school in a number of sporting disciplines. Although small, we have managed to achieve sporting successes at local, regional and national level.
11+ and independent grammar school passes are impressive with the Year 5 children experiencing an extra five lessons a week to help them prepare for their secondary school assessment.
There are a myriad of ‘after school’ activities from cooking and choir to Spanish and ‘Mad Science’, to mention but a few.
Sport plays an important part of the school day with all classes having PE. The juniors and infants have a swimming lesson once a week at Sale Leisure Centre.
All juniors travel to the sports field to take part in sport on a Monday afternoon where they prepare for the many inter school competitions that we take part in throughout the year.
When you join Forest Park you become part of a family where everyone is invited to contribute to the everyday running and ethos of the school. There is a warm and nurturing environment where the happiness of the child and the feelings of the parents are of paramount importance.
We invite you to come and meet our happy children and see our wonderful learning environment.
