We are delighted to share that Forest Park School has been awarded the Silver School Games Award for 2025/2026.

The award recognises the school’s ongoing commitment to PE, school sport and providing positive physical activity opportunities for our young people throughout the year.

At Forest Park School, we understand how important sport and physical activity can be, not only for physical health, but also for wellbeing, confidence and mental health. Taking part in sport helps young people build resilience, develop teamwork skills, improve communication and experience a sense of achievement. It can also provide a positive outlet for stress and anxiety, helping students feel more settled, motivated and connected.

Whether it’s through PE lessons, team activities, swimming sessions or simply encouraging participation and enjoyment, we are passionate about helping every student find ways to build confidence through movement and activity.

This achievement reflects the enthusiasm of our students, the dedication of staff and the continued support from parents and carers who encourage our sporting activities and wellbeing initiatives.

We are incredibly proud of everyone involved in helping us achieve this recognition. A huge well done to all of our students for embracing opportunities and giving things a go, and a special thank you to the staff who completed the application process and helped make this possible.

A fantastic achievement for the whole Forest Park community.
