Bike Maintenance Skills with Recyke Y’Bike!

Our students have been getting hands-on with bike maintenance, working alongside Keith from Recyke Y’Bike to learn some essential skills to keep their bikes safe and roadworthy!
During the session, students have been learning how to:
🔹 Check their brakes for safety.🔹 Change tyres and inner tubes.🔹 Check their bike chains and understand how to keep them in good working order.
It’s been fantastic to see students developing practical skills, building confidence and learning how to look after a bike. These are valuable skills that promote independence and encourage safe, active travel! 🚴♀️🚴♂️
