Bishop Auckland Mining Visit!

Updated: 3 days ago

Key stage 3 students at Forest Park school enjoyed a visit to the Mining Gallery in Bishop Auckland on 13th November 2024 to support work they have been doing in History and English.

Students enjoyed a private tour of the gallery as well as a handling session exploring the life of a miner over the years.

After the visit the students braved a trip to the top of Bishop Auckland Tower to enjoy the views over the valley. Great work!
