On Monday 30th March, we were delighted to welcome award-winning and Amazon number one bestselling fiction author Adam Bushnell for an unforgettable day of creativity and inspiration.

Adam spent the entire day with us, working with all of our students and delivering a series of engaging, hands-on workshops. Known for bringing history to life, Adam took our learners on an imaginative journey, sparking curiosity and excitement in every session.

Students had the opportunity to dress up in medieval body armour, handle replicas of ancient weapons, and even meet Jet the tortoise, who quickly made himself at home as he wandered around Forest Park, much to everyone’s delight!

Our students were exceptional throughout the day. They engaged brilliantly with every activity, asked thoughtful questions, and produced some fantastic work, like designing their own dragons and amazing themselves with their own drawing skills and creativity.

There was a real buzz around school and the enthusiasm for storytelling and reading that was wonderful to see. Events like these play such an important role in inspiring a love of literature, and Adam’s visit certainly left a lasting impression on both students and staff alike.

We are incredibly grateful to Adam for spending the day with us and sharing his passion for storytelling and we look forward to welcoming him back to Forest Park School again soon!
